I came in cussing several times about it.

We have all of these warning bells and whistles for our safety and or the dumb peds out there who are looking at their phone more than their surroundings. It doesn't need to be so loud for peds to hear it. This sounds like some ineffectual regulation - implemented to appease to some decision maker's ego who lives in an estate and will never have to deal with the noise.

I think the beeping i'm annoyed with is hazard one as it seems to beep at the same rate. I couldn't exactly figure out where the noise was coming from walking by without looking super shady. UPS management places their desire for profits over social decency. There is no need for drivers to announce their presence to the entire neighborhood. The fact that there may be children playing in the street is no reason to blast your horn. What if everyone constantly honked their horn? It would be a noise nightmare.
