What is the difference between stella and stella black

I suspect from all the additives added to all the crappy beer brewed in the USA. Where no one has to and no one does list the many many ingredients. I think this beer is lame. I like stella a, but this tastes like a weak beer with charcoal added. Bud stay out of it. Just as drinking from a can instead of a bottle can make the difference in taste, so does drinking from a glass. I usually drink beer in a drinking glass but this, as well as Spaten Optimator, is better from the bottle.

This is a beer for people who know what they like. Love it. Will buy it till it runs out and again when it comes back. Thank you Stella — ABV. Budweiser knows how to make good beers when they want. Someday all the hop stupid baby wannabe hipsters will grow up and their tastes will change as their tattoos fade.

Cheers till then! A proper glass is a must! As much fun with this one as I used to have with Michelob Classic Dark before they inexplicably quit making that. I hope this one stays, and that Classic Dark comes back. Bought this at local grocery store on super closeout in early May.

Love it! I love the midnight larger, and unlike most beers, its taste remains consistent even though the temperature increases. Please continue production!!? It looks like a stout; but that is is not; just a really good dark lager. Even though it is only 5. This results in cleaner, more fruit-forward wines think brunch-friendly zesty sparklers.

No word on where the rainbow ends. In an era of shrinking attention spans , marketing your brand with utmost economy is key. Use the fewest, catchiest words to encapsulate your brand message and you win. Stella Rosa wines answer a pretty common and unfairly maligned call for sweeter, spritzier wines, but they do so without resorting to flagrant sugar-bombing or two-dimensionality.

Stella Rosa Rosso Stella Rosso is a refreshing semi-sweet red wine best served chilled and accompanied with fresh frui.. Perhaps it is just as well, because it leaves the field more clear for craft and older-established regional brewers of high quality, e. Whilst its presentation in that instance looks poor, I'm not sure most British drinkers are aware black lager exists. Beer geeks are aware of swartzbiers but most drinkers associate ale with being brown and lager with being golden. They may have missed a trick in not bringing to market a genuine premium pilsner, but customers are more discerning than beer geeks believe.

People will not pay more unless it is better, and customers will determine a brands success and not internet beer geeks. Is the Stella over here anything like the Whitbread brewed stuff of old or is it the same as the rest of Europe now.

The Whitbread stuff did remarkably well over here for years, I know I worked for them, and yes we knew it was crap. The actual Stella Black branded glassware is quite nice. The training for bar staff is brief, to say the least. Main problem is brand awareness — very little advertising they say they do niche advertising — so niche I've never seen it punters don't know what it is. Tastes no worse than most other so called premium lagers. I hold in a giggle and say no but I continue to recommend it.

Everything else just tastes incredibly bland. If I wasn't terrified of this imaginary trade standards man who is frequently tossed about I'd conduct an experiment where I serve different beers in the same branded glass and see if people really knew the difference.

As for training there's been nothing. We didn't even get the bar blade that's meant to turn up with it. Stella Black is an attempt to relaunch Peeterman Artois which was taken out of circulation by AB-InBev a couple of years ago due to falling sales.

They are a desperate business trying to hold onto market share in the UK and will try anything…. Has this died the death along with Artois Bock and Peeterman?

I can't say I've ever seen it in a pub. Does Stella Black still exist? Tried this in a Nicholsons pub myself years ago and thought it was decent. But then next time I went to the same pub, it was just gone. Think it juust vanished without trace, like so many of these things do.
